fun an awesome. the bike it really good when u unlock it a lot of power for the size watt it is the only thing i would say is upgrade the shocks bc it bottoms out easy but other then that the bike is amazing and would buy another one

Nonexistent Support or Replacement Parts. Replacement parts like the proprietary brake pads are not available on US website and cannot be shipped from the EU website. support@ridstar-ebike.com never responds. Ridstar auctions off brake pads on eBay for ridiculous prices over $40 a pair (as more and more of us need replacement pads).
If you buy, plan to replace the Ktet/XOD/Dyisland proprietary hydraulic brakes with readily available ones.

It’s powerful and has lot of torque. reached 32.5mph consistently on moderately flat pavement with 205lb rider and hit 34.5 with 180lb rider. I mostly rode throttle only with little pedaling, but wasn’t difficult to pedal it when I chose to, at 5′-10″ tall. son is 6′-2″ and said the same. feel like it’s a good buy at the price point paid. longevity undetermined due to time owned, but seems well put together with beefy frame. tires are soft and ride fine, I’d personally replace with higher quality ones when current ones wear out enough to merit upgrades. only thing I didn’t like, and merely my personal preference, is seat height is fixed due to the design and could be an issue for some (like myself). seat’s comfortable enough, but I wouldn’t want to ride very long distances due to inability to adjust to the sweet spot in rider comfort. Not really a con overall, as some people are quite satisfied with the seat and height. I ended up selling it after a bad fall going 28mph, to my taller, more daring son. careful on the brakes..I slung the rear out from under me braking at 28mph going in to a sharper turn than intended. The road rash really burns. I’ve decided to purchase different model with adjustable seat and step through frame, to better meet my needs and comfort. overall I think it is a well made and fun ebike, just not for everyone.

for the price of the budget its a great bike. i take it to work which is 5 miles from where i live and it only takes 15 minutes. its very fun to ride, looks great. light works pretty good, I’ve already got over 300 miles on it and its still working fine. the front suspension is very soft so if you hit a big pot hole its going to bottom out very fast and it makes a ding noise. going up hills the bike does slow down and you have to help it pedal so it doesn’t drain the battery as fast. when the battery starts to go down the bike takes longer to go higher speeds and that also kills the battery faster so i doubt it can go 70 miles while going its max speed

This bike is really nice and my son enjoys riding it. He is also so excited that he comes home from school every day to go ride it. Very fast and he is soooo happy for it. We also rode together with my puppy and she was having fun too.

Great Bike For The Price. The bike showed up a day later than expected, but it is really nice. The arrival date was probably on FedEx. It rides just like a motorcycle. The suspension is great. The nice big saddle is a comfortable ride. The acceleration and speed of the bike are good. I can ride on the street without worrying about being mowed down by passing cars, but I can also jump on the sidewalk if traffic is really bad. Ridstar has built a solid product. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking to maximize their ride to cost ratio. I don’t think you can find a better bike for the price. I looked for days before making this purchase.

I JUST WANT TO ENJOY MY BIKE…… CRY! CRY! CRY! Unfortunately, I am The “One-Off” who got a DAMAGED PART,(THE CHAIN WHEEL), And While I’m sure this bike is Awesome for others, being FAIR, i have NOT been given the opportunity to EXPERIENCE THAT AWESOMENESS. Now 48 hours is the TIME LINE FOR CONTACTING THE SELLER. As I was assembling my BIKE, i was so HAPPY then flipping it RIGHT SIDE UP I NOTICED THE CHAIN WHEEL IS DAMAGED, i Have Photos. .. ….. I also have a missing NUT for the FRONT FENDER SCREW.

A couple of small things were wrong. The foot pedal did not fit possibly machine wrong and the lights drop every time it goes over a possibly need a lock net to keep them from dropping. Will update this review if exchange goes.

BEWARE of RIDSTAR: FACT/STORY: I purchased 2 Ridstar Ebikes in 2024. I think april for the 1st bike (oldest son ❤️ %26 cared for it because it was top quality) … his 1 year younger brother fell in ❤️ ridstar ebike as well… so 4ish months later i think…we bought another similar one ,dif color though …and they having/respecting/riding bikes… BUT…past 3 weeks – we have discovered there is NO!! , i mean (nothing) ! I/We just gave/sent again one last email to get guidance,but if not- then I will follow through to next step w/my warrant policy…. but walmart stated i had to reach out to manufacturer for up to year unless problems ( this is it ) … Buyers Beware!!! great bike for a maybe month, but u screwed if u wanna hear from the ridstar Official
