Took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Bought this bike on sale and wasn’t sure if it was worth it. I gave it a shot and after the first ride I am sold. It’s smoother and quieter than my brand name e-bikes. I know crazy to consider how good this is for the price. Anywhere below One K it’s totally worth it. Man I really can’t explain how good this budget mid drive is. I own and have ridden a ton of e-bikes. This bike is excellent. The seat is hard, brakes are a little lack luster. Still well worth the cost compared to what’s out in the market right now.

Make sure to get the mid drive model not the hub drive. It does require some bike sense to assemble, but nothing that YouTube couldn’t cover in 5mins or less. PAS 1 and PAS 2 were enough for me. Love it!

Walmart send me some bikes to review!

Mid drive 700c commuter. The bike was delivered with a bent front rim. I called Hyper Bikes using the number on the box. They were very helpful and sent out a new front wheel complete with tire and axle. It took one week to get. The bike is now ready to go. It is not the most powerful but much better than a rear hub bike with the same 250 wattage. The price is the reason I chose this one. It was $700 plus tax. Marked down from $1400. The display is also much better.

the bike is fun and fine, component choice is not. It arrived with a rear bent wheel axle that I emailed customer support about and hoping they will send a new wheel, the derailleur guard is too small for and inhibits using the smaller gear which meant it had to be removed, for some reason it has no brake cutoffs?
I knew what I was getting into with a department store bike so I already had plans to upgrade it, but a few details would have made this bike give a much better experience out of the box

Sad :(. Sadly ordered this bike, the box itself looked like it met a bear. Put the bike together, the front wheel was completely bent. Wish I got to use the bike! Thankfully, Walmart took the bike back- was an easy return.

Poor Assembly Instructions. It was put together in three hours. The instructions were not clear. The front tire is not true and there is tools to repair that. The handlebars cannot be tightened enough to the stem to stop them from turning independent of the wheel. We are not sure from the instructions how to rotate the position of the brakes. There was no instructions on how to assemble the front fender. I will most likely have to visit a bike shop to correct some of these things.

Damaged on arrival. Seems like it would have been good if it wasn’t bent. Box arrived damaged and I took the risk that it might be in good shape. Awful experience when you need something for transportation.

Arrived defective. Multiple problems. Very poor quality.

The bike features looked fairly impressive, but it arrived with multiple problems, including bent front forks and an out-of-plane wheel. I might have requested a replacement part if there was only one problem, but given several issues I decided to be done with the bike, even considering I had purchased the Allstate insurance on it.

Anyone know Allen? We bought two, but had to return one because it had a terribly twisted fork. It didn’t seem like a defect like that could be caused by bumps during delivery. Walmart was great with their no-fuss return policy. The other bike is all we had hoped for, except we had to “true” the wheel (dishonest wobbler), and we discovered one allen bolt is stripped on the right pull brake (so its position cannot be rotated on the handlebar to suit the rider’s hand grip). We are hoping someone will read this and know what size/brand screw we would need to replace if we were to try and drill it out ourselves? We don’t want to return the bike for such a minor thing, so we are committed to fix it ourselves. Keep in mind we bought the bike at healthy discount, so we’d rather not give this bike back too. We had been looking for a foldable ebike, but this was a coveted mid-drive. So anyway, now we had to get a second one, but the sale was over. We did find it elsewhere for even $100 less. Even so, we would still choose Walmart first when we can. Anyway, the bike can be heavy for anyone, but with a few accessories, like a softer seat, a couple of end mirrors, and a solar headlight, this makes for a great bike (even without the foldability). The bike seems too heavy for a sedan rack on the roof or off the trunk, so it is strictly for adventurers that begin from our driveway. Hopefully all its parts will stand up to Florida weather in our carport. The only other negative was the front fender screw just popped its head off as we tried to screw on the nut. Kind of unexpected, but we just used another random screw and nut. Eventually we’ll pick up something from the hardware store that they say is guaranteed to be rust proof. So we realize that was some negativity, but if a stripped allen bolt and snapped screw is the worst of it; then we think we described for you a fairly safe purchase, especially since Walmart stands behind the product.

Looks good but needed a lot of work out of the box. Poor quality construction and it didn’t go together well at all. The entire thing would need a tune up out of the box to work well. Sent it back

Angie’s helper did a great job but did not pump up tires . Couldn’t find my pump and forgot his. I pumped up the front tire and no problem. The rear tire wouldn’t hold air. So I had to remove the tire hoping not to screwup, found that there was a big tear, possibly a flaw or blow out which is confusing. So I had to buy a new tube and replace it. This bike has not been ridden yet since it’s a Christmas gift.
