I bought this in January and was really happy with it until, after 5 months of use, the display stopped working. The sound is fine, but the screen is completely black. I’ve tried troubleshooting, but nothing has resolved the issue.
EDIT: I reached out to customer service, and they were AMAZING! I got to speak with a real person right away. They’re sending me a replacement unit as soon as possible. They initially requested I return the old unit, but the next day they emailed to say I didn’t need to send it back due to COVID-19—just dispose of it and stay safe! I would definitely buy from them again, especially with such great customer service.

I’m quite pleased with my purchase. After reading numerous reviews, watching videos, and conducting further research, this monitor ranked as my top choice. I specifically wanted a monitor that didn’t rely on WiFi, so I excluded those options from my search. This monitor offers a secure connection, eliminating concerns about potential hacking. The battery life is impressive; I keep it unplugged while my baby is in her crib, and I’ve had no issues. When she’s out of the crib, I recharge it by keeping it plugged in. At night, I keep the monitor next to my pillow while it’s unplugged. The audio quality is excellent, with no delays. The camera design is aesthetically pleasing and does a great job of moving side to side and up and down. The zoom feature is a nice addition, and the temperature reading has been accurate for us.
I do have three minor drawbacks:
Despite these three cons, they aren’t enough to make me regret my purchase; they are just observations. The monitor itself looks very modern, and I wish I had bought it sooner!

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I recently bought another camera for our second child because we’ve really enjoyed having a video monitor that doesn’t rely on WiFi or keep us tied to our phones. The customer service at Eufy has been fantastic. NO static noice. I really like it to put in my girl’s room i was worry to be able to hear true the walls the other room noice but not even a beep another thing i really like is that their is no static in the parents monitor yey! i haven’t used it on battery operated cuz i don’t have a baby i just used it at night time.

Absolutely the best customer service—other reviews are spot on! If you encounter any issues with your baby monitor, just reach out to them, and they’ll assist you in resolving it. After two years, our monitor broke (we accidentally dropped it during the night), and when I contacted customer service, they sent us a replacement monitor for a nominal fee instead of making us buy a whole new monitor/camera set. I used to be a huge fan of the eufy baby monitor; I even bought two because I loved it so much and wanted my in-laws to have one. I convinced my sister and a few friends to get one, and I strongly recommended it in my mom group.
However, a few months ago, my sister started experiencing issues with her monitor—not the camera. It would only work while charging, and even then, the sound was faulty. She followed all the troubleshooting steps provided but found no resolution, which left me embarrassed for pushing her to buy it due to their poor customer service.
Now I have my own problem. I’ve had my monitor for less than two years, and I hardly move it. The kickstand completely broke off, and there’s a big crack on the back. It feels like it’s made of cheap plastic. Additionally, I have to sync the camera and monitor every time I turn it on, and I was told that the monitor is “apparently faulty.” Unfortunately, because it’s past the one-year warranty, they can’t help me, despite our family having purchased three monitors in the last 24 months. I’m really disappointed with this company and their lack of concern for a faulty product. I don’t have extra money to keep buying new monitors. I’m saddened that I recommended this monitor so often to other moms and family members.

I loved the fact that the sound on this device was crystal clear. I loved the fact that it let us know exactly what the temperature was in the room. Crystal clear sound. First 9f all the nightlight feature is almost completely useless. Loses the signal a lot, and turns off automatically. It’s a simple baby monitor but the audio quality is terrible and so much static. Not being able to listen to the baby makes me nervous and my anxiety goes through the roof. The range that this monitor claims it has is a joke. Does not work properly and I wouldn’t use it.

Set it up immediately and it worked perfectly! I could hear my munchkin and he could hear me. It was the perfect set up, until it fell over. I bumped the dresser it was set on, it fell on the floor then stopped working. Tried everything to fix it but it’s like the wires got a short cause it sounds garbled now. Bummed it stopped working but loved it when it did work.

It is on the more quiet side. That’s really the only downfall for me. The cord that needs to be plugged in is plenty long to set it down. The two way works perfectly. When a connection would work sound was distorted. This set needs a lot of work. I’d recommend saving your money for a better baby monitor system.

Great sound quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes knowing if my child is awake or a sleep much easier. We prefer the fact it has no camera because it feels safe knowing no one else could tap in and see our child. We only need to hear them and being able to clearly hear them all through the night is great! Any time they wake up crying I hear it instant because the sound quality is amazing. Setting it up was pretty simple just put it close to your child’s bed and plug it in. I put the receiver near my bed so I can have it close by me at night but I can also use it when I’m in any room of the house even outside! It definitely gives me peace of mind.

Motorola Simple but Effective Design does wonders! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to get this monitor as a travel monitor for my daughter and infant son. I didn’t want something that was difficult to set up, and I wanted something that was easy to travel with. The Motorola PIP11 Audio Baby Monitor was just what I was looking for. This functional product allows for audio to be heard from a far distance. I recently traveled with this, and I was able to hear all the sounds from one hotel room over. The sound quality also did not diminish with extended distance. One of the added features that I liked was the fact that it shows the temperature in the room of the baby, that way I would easily know if it was too hot or too cold. Additionally, there is a music feature, we didn’t use this, but it’s an option. Overall, great for a travel and easy-to-use monitor that offers excellent sound quality and long-range distance. I would recommend this product to others

RCA Antenna. Unfortunately I ended up not having to purchase an antenna for certain things to work, however, I was mislead from a friend of mine, not by a employee, but it was unnecessary and was n ot needed, so I’m assuming that it works as it should, I did not use it!

won’t be buying from Walmart any time soon. the monitor that was sent to me was already used by someone. the box it came in was tore up and taped back together. the power cord was unraveled and then put back into the box. then it says I can return it to any Walmart and when I took it in to the nearest Walmart they told me it had to be a super store only. I’m very angry about this whole purchase.

Very good. We have two. Our first one lasted almost 5 years before the charging cord to the parent unit started to stop charging. But in that time we also moved 3 times. So it was tossed around and everything. We got another to replace it. Has good clear sound and once fully charged lasts a long time. If you’re just wanting a simple audio monitor this works wonderful. Very reliable.

This monitor is a must have ! This very affordable Audio Monitor has amazing range and clarity. I bought it to hear my friend I am caring for after surgery when I am not in the room with her. The clip-on feature allows me to go outside and still hear her. Wish I would have bought this sooner! It is ideal for SO MANY situations!

Had emergency in middle of night w ALS patient. This product really helped when we needed it . I was using it for my Dad . I was caring for him because he has ALS and one night he woke up and couldn’t move . Had we not had this monitor who knows how long he would’ve been lying there unable to move. This should be advertised as more than a baby monitor. It’s great for caring for elderly and disabled people as well . Thank you .
