Sadly, defects are common. I wish i could leave a glowing review. The 1st one we ordered is flawless, we love it and it works great. The 2nd one had obvious problems with the front disc brake, it made a weird chirping noise when braking and it caused the wheel, stem and handlebar to vibrate. Since a replacement wasnt an option, we started the return process and ordered another one. The 3rd arrived today and makes an even louder different noise when braking but no vibration. Rather than the hassle and money tie up we’re just going to keep this one, have someone look at the front brakes and hope for the best. From what others have experienced I’m guessing the warranty isn’t real and the seller avoids contact so we will see how it operates for a couple weeks before making a final decision. It really is too bad, these are nice, maneuverable, lightweight scooters for the price. We dont need them to go fast or be radical, we just want them for leisurely rides. The ride is fairly soft and smooth as well. Our first one is perfect but it seems we got lucky and it’s a crap shoot. I’m very disappointed that a defective one isn’t unusual, 2 in a row would otherwise just be unlucky. Good luck if you decide to buy one.

Do your research on who can fix tires. Bought one in July by early sept the back tire was flat. No where around to fix it. Bike shops only willing to work on e bikes. Tires aren’t sold separately. I went on Amazon and tired to find one but that didn’t work. It’s a hassle to do the work yourself.

Not as described. The battery is draining faster then mentioned and it goes only about 9/10 miles when fully charged one time. Also the rear end tire described is anti puncture but it’s just 6/7th ride I did and I believe the rear end tire is gone flat. I want to return it.

good power, lots of fun. I had one that lasted for a year and 8 months. The power button suddenly stopped working. Cannot be powered on. Walmart protection from Allstate refunded me the price of the scooter. I just bought another one with that money.

The best escooter you can get at this price! Been 2 weeks since I got it, everything good until now:

I am about 172 pounds and travel for like 10.6 miles in total daily, easily able to reach 22mph and climb over surfaces, and at the end of day, I am left with 33% charge. Suspensions make the ride comfortable, but the plastic cover over right suspension does get loose and come off if you ride on rough or bumpy surfaces, have to tighten it after every ride. Overall, a good scooter but don’t expect too much from suspension and ride over smoother surfaces.

The design and the idea they had with this scooter was great but unfortunately the final result did not deliver for me. The motor rated at 500W was weaker than my 350W scooter that I have. Also, just the way the scooter was built is of very low quality and u could really feel it. If u are okay with all this, then its not a bad deal because the price is still great.

After one week: Very Pleased. Compared to the Aovopro ES80, the ESMax is taller/longer/wider/heavier. The scooter has a sturdy feel, and rides well on smooth and rough pavement (and packed dirt and lawn grass) with the larger, air-filled tires and suspension. It does not go well in soft sand, as the tires are not designed for it. The headlight is bright enough for one to ride safely at night up to about 15mph. The bell is loud enough to be heard well by people nearby, but a challenge to hear for someone in a vehicle. Even though it has a 500-watt motor, I did not notice much more (if any) power that the ES80 350-watt motor had while going up about a 10 degree incline. Both scooters reached 18mph going up the incline. It will reach a max speed of 22mph on the display, on level pavement. However, a GPS-based app on my iphone showed I was traveling 19mph as a top speed. I did feel like I was going a little faster than the ES80’s max speed of 19mph though.

As far as battery life following a complete charge, I noted the following during my first cycle of the battery. I am 61 years old, weigh 200 pounds, and rode entirely in an Florida RV resort over a period of about a week. I rode errands of 1 to 4 miles per day, travelling mostly 11-15mph on mostly level pavement (one hill with an approximate 10 degree incline), with temperatures in the 60s-70s. I was able to travel 33 miles on the initial full charge before the scooter would only go about 6mph. With 10% battery remaining as shown in the app and one green line showing on the main display, the scooter would still reach 22mph on the display. With one red line showing on the display and 2% battery showing in the app, the scooter would reach 18mph. I was impressed with the total mileage achieved and the ability to still reach max speed at the low charge level. Note this was all done in small mileage increments over nearly a week, not in one long ride. I was surprised to note in the app the scooter battery would recover at least 5% charge if allowed to set and cool down after a ride.

I am happy with the ESMax and believe it to be a good upgrade to the ES80 that I had bought for my son. It was a great buy at Walmart during Black Friday and Cyber Monday at over 50% off! I also added a 4-year protection plan for peace of mind.

I pulled out what little tools i had thinking i was about to real deal build the scooter but the scooter came already assembled i just had to attach the handle bars and kickstand which only took like 5-8 mins. it will ask you to turn the scooter on after assembly to make sure it powers on. The battery may appear full but the instructions say to charge before use and thats what i recommend. all in all really great scooter 22mph top speed i rode it for an hour or so straight continuously and still had 3 bars of battery left when i decided to go home.

Great scooter runs smooth no issues. Very smooth and runs great. Shocks are amazing and functions as they’re supposed to. Back wheel had an issue but I was able to fix it. Goes around 22mph. Good bang for your buck. Definitely recommend!
