This solar generator is perfect. I have charged it with the solar panels and keep it handy for various projects and also in the event of a power outage. The digital display shows how much power you are using and also gives an estimate of how much time you would have at that rate. It has convenient handles and can be moved around easily. Great buy.

This unit keeps E2 error messages – ‘battery low voltage protection’. It started erroring when the unit was 56% full and attempting to run a 1200 watt tea kettle. Since then it has given the E2 fault even with more stored power and lesser voltage requests. It has gradually errored out at 65% 70% and even 85%. The last time we were only charging a cell phone. This is unacceptable and should be under warranty.

Had an error signal of error2 which they told me was low battery charge but happened at 35% and 60% on screen. The only reason I give a somewhat good review is I returned the unit and hopefully it will be corrected because I also have the 1800 and that is awesome. Will update review if 2400 isn’t fixed

After surviving the Texas winter storm of 2021, I started a collection of Portable Power Stations (PPS) as an alternative to gas/propane generators. I purchased my first OUPES 2400 in November 2022 and my second in July 2023. These units are a great value and provided the power I need to run my refrigerator, electric blankets and most home appliances during outages. I’m a happy OUPES customer and I’m excited to see any future products from this company.

Powerhouse. This has the power to get you through the storm. Keeps the fridge and freezer running all night during a power outage. We bought it to go boondocking and it will power our 5000BTU AC for several hours.

Its powerful and has a nice capacity. This Power Station is almost as powerful as a two battery, piggybacked power station I got in July. So it saves space, and saves material and total weight. It only uses about 20% of its capacity to run my fridge for 7 hours during “time of use” peak hours. I am pretty sure it will also be able to heat or cool a small bedroom with a portable room heater or small room air conditioner overnight, on the same charge (they aren’t running all that time).
I do have 2 small issues. I’m not sure why they cover the input ports on the side, when none of the output ports on the front are covered. Its flimsy rubberish something, and I’m thinking of cutting it off. Not a big deal.
The instructions have a problem. On page 7, it shows four 240 watt panels going into the power station. But it says the anderson port will only take up to 500 watts. Is it saying each Anderson port will take 500 ? (there are two anderson and two 7909 ports). The diagram shows 960 watts going in.
The instructions say Connect 2*220 Solar Panels. The diagram shows 240 watt. The panels were probably improved after the Manual was printed.
Also, on page 7, the NOTE says “The power station cannot be charged until all the Anderson port is connected”. Does that mean both ports need input, or does it mean to insert the anderson plug thoroughly in? I hooked up a panel with one Anderson input, and it did work.
This thing is a little heavy. I’m thinking of making a plywood dolly. I want to run the fridge during peak time of use, then move it to the bedroom, to use a room heater or air conditioner every night.
Had this been available last year, I would have bought it then, and would have 2 of them now.
There was no damage to the box during shipping, BUT, it was laid on its side at my house at delivery. Perhaps a bolder THIS END UP, instead of a thin, light arrow would be helpful.
