Fantastic Knife Set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent knife set. I do not know who the company Tasty happens to be, but they a nice product. I had already had a 4-piece, smaller knife set and I thought this would be equal quality and it was. This set does not contain a cleaver nor a flexible fillet knife nor does it have sharpening rod. However, and fortunately, the blade seems to be made out of material that holds their sharpness for a long time. I really like the color coated handles. They are a hard silicon material and have a textured surface. Each color handle corresponds to a different knife type. I find myself reaching for a certain color when I need a certain blade. The gray holding block is painted wood. I am totally pleased with the performance of this knife set. They are very light weight, which is a con. Consequently, this had not presented a problem for me thus far. If I ever need knifes again, I will definitely be looking at Tasty again.

Very nice knife set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful, modern-looking set that looks great on our counter. It is a 15-piece set that came with six steak knives, six different assorted knives, a knife sharpener, and a pair of scissors. Some of them are big; however, they are easy to use and useful for many different types of foods. I have used them to cook many meals so far, but the standout one was steak with vegetables. The Santoku knife was great for vegetables, and the steak knife works really well. The handles are very comfortable and easy to control, even with harder foods. They are very sharp, and the block they come with is nice. The only thing I wish was different is that the handles of the sharpener and the scissors are black, but the other handles are silver, which would’ve made it look a little more elegant if they were all the same color, but otherwise, they are very nice and durable, and I would recommend them.

Okay but not great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They look nice enough, but they do not hold an edge at all. I tried to cut a tomato after using a slicing knife and it just didn’t want to cut smoothly. I sharpened it and it did fine. Also have to hand wash and dry which I don’t like.

I like having my knives in the convenient knife block. No more hunting through a drawer to find the right knife. They are sharp. I can cut paper thin meat without any problem. The handles are made with a good grip. They are not a job too small or too large from cutting bread to meat they do it all. I am impressed with this set.

The cutlery slices well without mangling food which can happen with other sets, particularly items such as tomatoes, softer breads and cheeses.

Very pretty decoration. I love the color and I love Tasty cookware so it seemed a no brainer to buy the knife set. These knives don’t cut well, at all, I find myself using multiples at a time to find one that will work. I have also only washed them a handful of times and they are already beginning to rust.

No weight. The knife block was cheaply made. I could already see the markings on a knife block. You could see the wood underneath. The knobs itself are extremely light. They didn’t have any weight to it. I need something that is adorable and I didn’t think that those knives could hold up for the type of use. I’m using it for. I knew the moment I took it out the box it wasn’t going to work out.

Nice set of knives. Price was enticing and sharpness was a welcome surprise. They are lightweight but this has not been a problem when using them. There was a strong odor coming from the wood block initially, but it faded within a day. The online description said dishwasher safe however the box instructions recommends cleaning by hand. I will wait to see if this becomes a nuisance in the future or risk a few to see what the dishwasher does to them. Overall with so many sets to choose from I’m happy to have this set of sharp knives.

Each knife is stamped with its recommended use. The black matches very well with other appliances. Comes with built-in knife sharpener, which is very convenient. Was packaged well.
